I just realized that I haven't read Pitchfork in over 8 months. That's right, my one news source that I absolutely could NOT live without for so long...and it stopped being relevant in my life. Why? I have no earthly idea!
I decided to venture over to their neck of the woods and found their snobbery ways exactly how I left them. How quaint.
It probably has something to do with how much time gets consumed by my job. I can barely keep up with all the RSS feeds I've subscribed to.
I probably just need to get up earlier, or stay up later. Or stop reading Perez altogether. You know what? I just might try that. I normally read that mess while I'm eating at my desk. Well NO MORE!! I don't care that much about celebrities anyways. I think I just got into it so I had something to talk about at work with people that I didn't know very well.
Also, I'm re-obsessed with Alkaline Trio- "Stupid Kid" today. Haven't listened to that record in a year or so and couldn't stop singing this song all morning. Video is precious, have a look:
